What is WatchSignal?

WatchSignal is a stock market app powered by an on-device AI ensemble that surfaces bullish, neutral, and bearish indicators with confidence scores. Beyond signals, it includes a live Sector Radar covering all 11 GICS sectors, a stock screener, real portfolio tracking with health scoring and benchmark comparison, smart rebalancing, tax-loss harvesting, a dividend calendar, insider transaction history (SEC Form 4), forecast accuracy tracking, and customisable smart alerts. AI inference runs locally via ONNX Runtime.

What data does WatchSignal collect?

Your portfolio holdings, watchlist entries, signal history, alerts, and trading activity stay on your device - they are not transmitted to our servers.

To create your account we use Sign in with Apple, and a minimal set of personalization preferences (such as your experience level and interest tags) is synced so your settings are restored when you reinstall. Market data, options chains, and SEC filings are fetched on demand from trusted third parties; subscription billing is handled by Apple. We use no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

What is included in the free tier vs. Signal+?

The free tier includes daily AI signals, a 10-ticker watchlist, the stock Screener, the Sector Radar with end-of-day refresh, basic portfolio tracking, and a limited number of alerts and signal refreshes per day.

How accurate are the AI signals?

Accuracy varies by ticker and prediction horizon. Rather than rely on a single backtest figure, the app includes a Forecast Accuracy tab on every ticker showing the model's actual hit rate, directional accuracy, and confidence calibration on real out-of-sample data - so you can judge each signal in context.

What is the Sector Radar?

The Radar tab visualises all 11 GICS market sectors as a live heatmap, updated throughout the trading day on Signal+. It surfaces sector rotation, volatility clusters, and emerging leaders so you can spot where money is flowing before drilling into individual tickers. The free tier shows end-of-day snapshots; Signal+ adds the live Radar, full sector heatmap, and Regime/Relative Correlation views.

Where does the market data and insider activity come from?

Real-time and historical price data, options chains, and SEC Form 4 insider transactions are sourced from Polygon. The app fetches what you are viewing on demand - there is no background scraping or unnecessary data calls. The full list of services that process data is on our sub-processors page.

Why is a signal marked as "stale"?

A signal is flagged as stale when it was generated more than 2 hours ago and market conditions may have changed. Tap the ticker to refresh the signal and get the latest inference.

How do I cancel my subscription?

WatchSignal subscriptions are managed through the App Store. To cancel:

Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap WatchSignal.
Tap Cancel Subscription.

You will retain access until the end of the current billing period.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and select the WatchSignal purchase. If you have further questions, email us at support@watchsignal.ai.

Is WatchSignal available on Android?

WatchSignal is currently available on iOS only. Android support is on our roadmap - email us to register your interest.
